Community Grants

People · Place · Planet: Our BIG project funding

Thanks to Community Bank Maldon & District’s customers, we regularly provide funds to programs, projects and events to support our vision for a thriving, connected and sustainable community.  In addition to these regular partnerships that are offered quarterly, and as part of our 25th Birthday celebrations, Community Bank Maldon & District are taking on something big and bold that we can hang our hat on in the future. We are seeking a project idea that will be long lasting, upholds our values and supports our vision.

We are seeking to address an issue, or issues, confronting our communities by harnessing the enthusiasm of passionate individuals or community groups to find solutions to tackle the challenges. We are allocating up to $1 million for a Big Project over 5 years. Our theme is People, Place & Planet.

Initially our BIG Project committee will be seeking Expressions of Interest to hear about new ideas or to implement ideas raised previously.   Those interested in submitting an Expression of Interest will find all the information they need in the form of guidelines, timelines and the EOI form in the links below.

It’s a big piece of work but it’s equally exciting to see what might transpire for our community.

An online forum will be held on Monday 12th August from 6.30pm to provide interested groups with an opportunity to ask questions and hear directly from the Community Bank Board (Maldon District Financial Services Ltd) about the guidelines, the process, etc.  To register your attendance and to receive the link for this session, send an email to Sophie (bigproject@maldoncb.com.au) or phone 0478 435 110

Traditional Owners

We acknowledge the traditional owners of this land, the Dja Dja Wurrung people, and we pay our respect to the elders past, present and emerging. The Dja Dja Wurrung people have been custodians of this land for many centuries, and have performed age old ceremonies of celebration, ritual and renewal. We acknowledge their living culture and their unique role in the life of this region.

We express our gratitude that we share this land together, our sorrow for some of the cost of that sharing, and our hope and belief that we can move to a place of equity, justice and partnership together.
